The incredible stillness of everyday life. Especially as me, with no set of responsibilities, no family, and easily tired, discouraged, overwhelmed.
It makes sense why marriage and lots of babies is such a thing here. It eliminates the deafening quietness of a few goats bleating and a couple dust blurry kids scampering by. Sitting all the hours of the day waiting for dogg jot.
Waiting for work.
Or something new, exciting. A toubab.
Its good for me to experience this for a time, the incredible weight and lightness of nothingness.
